Just three hours north of Whistler, you’ll find Tyax Lodge tucked in amongst towering trees on the shores of Tyaughton Lake. Mountain biking, horse riding, hiking and floatplane tours offer limitless possibilities for adventure, but Tyax’s main claim to fame is its heli-skiing. With access to 830,000 acres of ski terrain, over 350 runs and some epic powder snow, there’s enough to satisfy even the most seasoned pro. Guests also benefit from the exclusivity of single group heli-skiing, which eliminates waiting times at the bottom of your run.
During the summer, the lake provides an alternative source of adventure, with canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddle boards at your service. After a long day of activities, return to a crackling open log fire and a delicious three-course meal.
