It was originally built in 1900, modelled after George Washington’s Mount Vernon home with huge wraparound verandas and white pillars. Oozing countryside elegance, most of the 36 rooms and suites enjoy panoramic lake views, as well as little luxuries like Nespresso coffee machines and L’Occintane amenities.

Surrounded by expansive grounds and gardens, the hotel presides over 600 meters of prime lakeshore on Lake Massawippi. In this enchanting setting, a stay is all about soaking up the fresh air and relaxing amidst bucolic surroundings.
