COROCORA CAMP, LOS LLANOS

THE LAND OF COLOMBIA’S COWBOYS

Corocora Camp transports you to the land of Colombia’s cowboys, an undisturbed region filled by savannah, flooded grasslands and wild rivers.

As well as the traditional cowboy heritage, it’s the remoteness and rich wildlife of Los Llanos that draws nature-lovers to this corner of Colombia. Set on its own private reserve, Corocora Camp is the perfect base from which to experience this virtually untouched wilderness. Choose from one of four sleeping tents where you’ll find plush mattresses, en-suite bathrooms and private terraces.

Corocora Camp, Los Llanos | Ultimate Travel Co

Explore the reserve with a naturalist guide for a chance to encounter more than 200 different species of birds as well as giant anteaters, capybaras, jaguars, howler monkeys and mighty anacondas. Immerse yourself in the region’s rich riding culture on excursions alongside local llaneros who’ll teach you how to herd cattle using traditional songs and chants. Finish off with a parrando llanero – a feast around the bonfire complemented by live music.

“EXPERTLY TAILORED, EFFORTLESSLY ENJOYABLE”
We travelled to Indochina in January/February with an itinerary designed by The Ultimate Travel Company – and it was spot on. Rob, our consultant, really understood what we were looking for and created a journey that suited us perfectly. The choice of hotels was excellent, and the pace was just right, with enough time built in to relax and recharge between the different experiences. The service throughout was professional, personal and thoughtful – exactly what you want from a travel specialist.

“EXCELLENT SAFARI IN REMOTE ZAMBIA”

We had a wonderful safari experience in South Luangwa, Zambia this September. Despite a few unexpected setbacks behind the scenes, everything ran seamlessly for us. Our driver and guide were outstanding, and the standard of accommodation was truly first class.

“FAULTLESS AND FUN”
We’ve just returned from a Danube cruise with Douglas Skeggs and Joanna Worsley, with a few days in Vienna beforehand – all brilliantly overseen by Emily. From meet and greet at the airport to every detail on board the Amadeus Cara, the organisation was seamless. We’re already looking forward to our next Escorted Tour with The Ultimate Travel Company.
