Here, the haunting Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum provides a deeper insight into the country’s tragic modern history.
Away from the capital lie the traditional towns and untouched villages of rural Cambodia, rich in pre-Angkor ruins, verdant rice paddies and pretty lakes.
