Walk for just a few minutes along the fine white sand of the crescent-shaped bay and you will arrive at one of the Caribbean’s most important – for the British anyway – historical destinations; Nelson’s Dockyards. It was here in 1784 that Horatio Nelson arrived to enforce sweeping new shipping laws on the region.
