We’re working from home until further notice, but remain fully operational with uninterrupted access to all our systems.  So it’s very much business as usual.

Yasawa Island Resort is an exclusive five-star retreat on one of the most remote and unspoiled islands of Fiji. Just 18 luxury bungalows are hidden among the palms, each just a few steps from a pristine white beach. Swim in crystal clear waters, dive on vividly coloured corals, connect with an ancient culture or indulge in beachfront spa

Each bure (Fijian for sanctuary) overlooks the ocean and is superbly fitted in contemporary Fijian style with a thatched roof, plantation shutters, an expansive sundeck, an outdoor shower, a personal hammock and a private beach hut on the edge of the sand.

Bure Suites set a luxurious benchmark with their modern styling and open plan design. Scattered in pairs among the palms, they share just one adjoining wall and are positioned for privacy – the only thing you will see from inside is the beach. The modern bathroom has a shower for two with a view of the ocean, while the expansive living area has plantation shutters and French doors to the sundeck outside. Deluxe Bures are vast and free-standing, offering ocean panoramas from inside and out. A split-level design creates separate living and sleeping areas inside, while broad decks and shaded day-beds extend the living space outside. The Two Bedroom Bure is perched on a rise overlooking the rest of the resort. The two separate bedrooms are on either side of a central living area and elevated outdoor deck provides magnificent views over the island and out to sea. The Honeymoon Bure, hidden from the rest of the resort at the end of a deserted white beach, features its own horizon pool overlooking the ocean, a vast split-level design and separate living and sleeping areas that open to expansive timber decks outside. Even the bathroom has access to the decks, along with a shower for two with views of the beach outside

Yasawa offers contemporary cuisine at every sitting with an emphasis on the succulent seafood caught daily in surrounding waters. Lobster plucked from the nearby reefs is a specialty. Dine at the restaurant, on the beach or in your bure

The resort is home to Fiji’s first beachfront spa, just metres from the ocean’s edge. The Baravi Spa has been carefully constructed in a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, with an ocean view massage deck perched over the sands in the open air. Their signature massage, the Baravi Rhythm, is performed by two synchronized therapists.

  • We have travelled with TUTC six times, the most recent was to New Zealand last year. The trip was very well organised as usual, with excellent accommodation and a wide variety of experiences. We had booked to go to Australia with them this year but due to Covid this was cancelled, Ultimate handled the situation very professionally and promptly refunded the whole of our deposit without any quibble.
