Ahilya by the Sea, Dolphin Bay, Goa

Actually, the family live next door. Which may well account for the sensation that, after a couple of days, you feel less like you’re staying in a hotel and more like you’re living in your own, beachside home. Ahilya by the Sea is built on the grounds of the old Portuguese Customs House and now comprises a pair of villas that offer superb views over the mouth of Old Goa’s seaway, as well as interestingly individual accommodation.

Choose to stay in the Arjun Tower as part of your luxury, tailor-made holiday to Goa and you will find yourself in a suite that almost feels like it’s a treehouse – the tower is wrapped in the dense green leaves of an ancient banyan tree that stands on the beachfront.
