From Cairo’s ancient sites to the stunning beaches of Sharm El Sheikh, our wonderful Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh itinerary will introduce you to Egypt’s highlights through the luxurious lens of the Four Seasons.
Begin your journey in Egypt’s bustling capital, Cairo, where you will encounter some of the world’s most magnificent ancient monuments as well as bustling bazaars and the excellent Egyptian Museum. Whenever you need a break from sightseeing, the Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza has a wonderful spa and multiple rooftop swimming pools where you can drink in sweeping views over the city.
You’ll then transfer to the illustrious resort of Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula where you can enjoy seven nights of luxurious beachside relaxation, snorkelling and desert adventures.
CAIRO
Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met and transferred to your landmark hotel on the Corniche besides the Nile.
You’ll have plenty of time to uncover Cairo’s treasures, starting with the Great Pyramids of Giza, one of the world’s greatest ancient monuments. You’ll enter the temple of the Sphinx, get an up-close view of the Great Pyramid of Cheops and see the smaller pyramids of Pharaohs Chephren and Mycerinus, plus the tombs of their queens and princesses. Your tour continues to the ancient capital of Memphis, home to the huge Statue of Ramesses II, before venturing onto the Step Pyramid at Saqqara, the Serapeum and three tombs of ancient Egyptian nobles.
There’s also time to browse the excellent Egyptian Museum, the old Citadel of Saladin and the 13th century Khan el-Khalili bazaar with its twisting alleys, shops and stalls.

SHARM EL SHEIKH
Leaving the bustle of Cairo behind, you now make your way to the Egyptian resort town of Sharm el Sheikh. Nestled between the desert of the Sinai Peninsula and the clear balmy waters of the Red Sea, it’s a place known for it sheltered sandy beaches and its colourful coral reefs.
Your hotel is one of the area’s most illustrious beachfront resorts, set in a cluster of whitewashed villas with sweeping views over the Gulf of Aqaba. As well as its own private beach and two yachts for romantic sunset cruises, the resort has its own Dive Centre and access to over 70 recognised dive sites where you can explore WWII shipwrecks and a dazzling display of marine life. Desert excursions can also be arranged, as well as day-trips to St Catherine’s Monastery.
