LUXURY INDIA HOLIDAYS

ABOUT THE ITINERARY

With our Colonial East India holiday itinerary, you will have the chance to combine the heady thrills of an elephant safari with an inside look into India’s culture, tea industry and history.

Wander through the multi-coloured streets and flower markets of Calcutta, experiencing an energy and ambience like no other, before trading the hustle and bustle for serenity by strolling through Calcutta’s spectacular botanical gardens.

Your luxury holiday to India will then take you on an elephant safari in Kaziranga National Park, before travelling high in the foothills of the Himalayas to enjoy an iconic tea experience.

But you, of course, will be shooting with your camera. Expect to photograph rhino – the park’s population numbers 1500 – wild buffalo, gaur, leopards and civet, otters, swamp deer, wild boar, gibbons and langurs, sambar, pythons and even the mighty tiger. Plus a huge variety of birdlife.
