KILLARNEY LODGE, ALGONQUIN

THE HEART OF A MAGNIFICENT NATURE

A small, family-run establishment, Killarney Lodge comprises 26 beautiful log and pine cabins in Algonquin Provincial Park.

For over seventy years, this rustic lodge has provided warm, spacious and welcoming accommodation at the heart of a magnificent nature preserve. The land here is known for attracting moose, chipmunks and black bears amongst other wildlife. Killarney’s private lakeside cabins come tastefully furnished in a comfortable yet sophisticated country style. The interiors exude the warmth that comes from decades of loving care. Each cabin faces the water and includes the use of a canoe, which waits just outside your door.

Be sure to bring your camera and binoculars for the wildlife spotting opportunities. Take a short paddle ride, or set off for a day long adventure by canoe with a packed lunch, hike or bike, fish the river or just relax on the deck. Back at the lodge, you’ll find a cosy wood stove in the guest lounge where coffee, tea, fresh fruit and snacks are always available. Three homemade meals are included in your stay and prepared from fresh produce.

TESTIMONAL 11
“YES TO ULTIMATE – AND YES AGAIN”
This was our second big trip with The Ultimate Travel Company – and we’d happily use them again and again. The customer service is excellent: they really listen to what you want and make it happen. Their on-the-ground support, wherever you’re headed, is just as strong. Everything was seamless. Highly recommend.

“PROFESSIONAL, PERSONAL – AND A REAL PLEASURE”
From the moment we got in touch, everything felt smooth and well looked after. The team were not only professional and thorough – providing tailored suggestions with clear costings – but also genuinely friendly. Even after we returned, a follow-up email (and a bottle of wine!) showed just how thoughtful Ultimate Travel really is. Nothing was too much trouble. We already have more trips booked and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

“FLAWLESS, AGAIN”
This is the third time I’ve used TUTC. The service, as before, was flawless. Aside from putting in place all the major details of a complex trip to Japan, Dan at TUTC nailed every detail: train tickets were for seats with large luggage space (very important in Japan, as we discovered); a mobile internet wifi was included; together with a pre-charged use-pretty-much-anywhere travel card (again, important – Japan has multiple transport companies). For any kind of complex trip I won’t go anywhere else.
