Owned and operated by our partners in the Galapagos, Augusto and Georgina Cruz, The Beagle is a magnificent 105-foot steel-hulled schooner with teak decks.
An elegant, steel-hulled brigantine schooner with teak decks and wooden interiors, The Beagle was built in the Woolwich dockyards in the 1970's.
The deck area is equally generous and covered by awnings so that you can enjoy the cruise in the open air and observe the wildlife of the Galapagos while shaded from the tropical sun. Meals are served either in the saloon mid-ships or on the aft deck, and are varied to include local specialities and fresh seafood. There is also a small bar and library with reference books on board.
The Beagle carries a crew of six, including an experienced skipper, skilled chef and bi-lingual naturalist guide, who will ensure that your voyage is as comfortable and memorable as possible.
Once again, we have chartered this beautiful yacht for a select number of weeks throughout the year, and offer a choice of 7 and 14-night cruises. Although local conditions dictate the exact itinerary, cruises will explore the eastern and central islands of the archipelago, including Santa Cruz, home to the Darwin Research Station and the giant land tortoise, or visit the more distant western islands such as Isabela, perhaps the most beautiful island in the archipelago.
