ABOUT THE ITINERARY
MARRAKECH
Check in for your flight from London to Marrakech, arriving in the evening. You will be welcomed by one of our local representatives and taken to your authentic riad in the heart of the famous Medina, a short stroll from the Royal Palace.
Stay: Two nights in a superior room at Les Jardins de la Medina – bed & breakfast
IMLIL
Today you begin your trekking adventure. You will leave the city behind and be transferred to your hotel on the outskirts of the Imlil village, spectacularly located in the foothills of Mount Toubkal. You will be introduced to your mountain guide and, depending on your arrival time, go on an introductory walk in the local area.
The following day you can simply relax in the Imlil area or set off to explore the Imlil Valley with your personal guide. Separate morning and afternoon walks can be arranged, as well as full day treks complete with a picnic lunch. Those looking to venture further afield can head to outlying valleys.
Stay: Two nights at the Kasbah du Toubkal – full board
AZZADEN VALLEY
From the Imlil Valley, you will trek 3 – 4 hours to the remote Azzaden Trekking Lodge, with a picnic lunch served en route. The lodge sits in the village of Ait Aissa in the beautiful Azzaden Valley, a picturesque setting virtually untouched by the outside world.
During your stay you will have the opportunity to explore the Azzaden Valley with your guide, choosing to walk as little or as far you like. And after a long day’s trek, you can retire to the lodge’s private hammam or the comfortable lounge which boasts panoramic views over the mountains.
Stay: Two nights in a standard room at the Trekking Lodge – half board
IMLIL
Today after breakfast you will trek back to Dar Imlil via your chosen route with your guide. Alternatively, you can return to your accommodation in Marrakech for the final night.
Stay: One night in a standard room at Kasbah du Toubkal, OR return to Marrakech for the last night
FLY HOME
Today you will be transferred to Marrakech Menara Airport in time to board your flight back to London, arriving in the early evening.
