Flying from London into Rome, a city steeped in 2,000 years of history, you will be transferred to your stunning boutique hotel looking out over the Piazza Navona. The Pantheon, one of the best-preserved monuments of the ancient world, is just a stroll away.
Other unmissable attractions that lie right on your doorstep include the famous Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and, of course, the Colosseum – the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built. You’ll have tickets to see the immense collections of the Vatican Museum, as well as entry into the Sistine Chapel where you’ll be able to marvel at Michelangelo’s incredible painted ceiling and Last Judgement fresco. With four nights at your disposal, there’s plenty of time to wonder at the cavernous interior of St Peter’s and explore the fashionable stores along the Via Condotti.
