This atmospheric city is best experienced on foot, and you’ll have three nights to explore its narrow streets, plant-filled plazas and UNESCO World Heritage sites. A local guide can help you to unravel the history behind some of Seville’s most important buildings, from its towering Gothic cathedral to the palace-fortress of Alcázar. Built on the site of a 10th century fort, this is Seville’s foremost attraction, famed for its ornate tiling, tranquil courtyards, gardens and stuccowork. Otherwise, you can enjoy strolls through Parque de Maria Luisa and treat your taste buds to Sevillian specialties in the infinite tapas bars.
