ABOUT THE ITINERARY
This journey offers a well-paced introduction to Nepal, combining the cultural depth of the Kathmandu Valley with time in the Himalayan foothills and the wildlife-rich lowlands of Chitwan National Park.
Begin in Kathmandu, where temple squares, shrines and traditional Newar architecture sit within a busy, absorbing capital. From there, fly to Pokhara for three nights in the foothills of the Annapurna range, with time for walks, picnics and views across the valley and mountains.
The itinerary then continues to Chitwan National Park, one of Nepal’s key wildlife areas, before returning to Kathmandu for a final night and a visit to Bhaktapur, one of the valley’s most important medieval towns.

ARRIVE IN KATHMANDU
On arrival in Kathmandu, you will be met and transferred to Babar Mahal Vilas, set in the heart of the city.
During your stay, explore Kathmandu with a private guide, visiting Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal’s most sacred Hindu sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to the hilltop Swayambhunath Stupa, often known as the Monkey Temple, before taking a rickshaw ride through the historic streets around Durbar Square. There will also be time to browse the shops and markets of Thamel.
Stay: 2 nights at Babar Mahal Vilas, in a Royal Suite.

POKHARA
Fly to Pokhara, a relaxed lakeside city set beside Phewa Lake and backed by the Annapurna range. Your lodge is positioned on a ridge above the valley, with far-reaching views across the surrounding hills and mountains.
Days here can be shaped around your preferred pace. There are scenic ridge walks in the Annapurna foothills, gentler routes through the surrounding countryside, and opportunities for picnics in carefully chosen locations. You will also have time to explore the local area from the lodge.
Stay: 3 nights at Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge.

CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
Leave Pokhara and fly to Bharatpur, where you will be met and transferred to Tiger Tops Tharu Lodge, close to Chitwan National Park. This UNESCO-listed national park is one of Nepal’s most significant wildlife reserves.
During your stay, explore the park and its surrounding landscapes with the lodge’s experienced guides. Activities may include jeep safaris, excursions on the Rapti River, jungle walks and birdwatching. Wildlife in the area includes one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tiger, leopard, sloth bear, deer and monkeys.
Stay: 3 nights at Tiger Tops Tharu Lodge, in a Standard Room.

POKHARA – KATHMANDU
Fly back to Kathmandu for your final night in the capital. After lunch in a local restaurant, visit Bhaktapur, an ancient Newar town in the eastern part of the Kathmandu Valley.
Known for its temples, courtyards and finely worked wood, metal and stone craftsmanship, Bhaktapur is one of the valley’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites and offers a fitting final chapter to the journey.
Stay: 1 night at Babar Mahal Vilas, in a Royal Suite.
