ITINERARY INSPIRATION

CLASSIC ARGENTINA

The size and diversity of Argentina means it is somewhere that you can visit three, four or even five times and still have more to uncover.
CLASSIC ARGENTINA

ABOUT THE ITINERARY

In our ‘classic’ itinerary we have focussed on some of our favourite areas, for those looking to see the star attractions of South America’s second largest country.

Your holiday starts in Buenos Aires, a sophisticated city with a focus on style, fashion and art and home to some wonderful restaurants and bars. You will then head south to natural wonders of Patagonia and the Lake District, visiting the hugely impressive Perito Moreno Glacier en route. From the south you will work your way north, for a few days relaxation in the stunning wine region around Mendoza, where the back-drop of the Andes is the perfect accompaniment to a glass of Malbec.

Your penultimate stop is the north-west of the country, an area home to some stunning natural scenery, including deserts, salt flats and rocky canyons.

To end your stay in Argentina, you will visit one of the newly announced natural wonders of the World, the hugely impressive Iguassu Falls on the border with Brazil. 2.7km wide and with over 250 waterfalls, it’s a fitting stop to end.
